Debbie J. Miller

Debbie J. Miller, 64, of Loves Park, passed away on Sunday, August 21, 2022 in her home. She was born in June of 1958 in Rockford, IL. She attended Rockford Public Schools and earned a bachelor’s degree in English from Rockford University. She went on to earn a Master of Education from St. Xavier University. She was a local teacher and taught middle and high school and retired in 2019. She enjoyed local parks and the bike path, taking frequent walks and hikes. Her hobbies included yoga, tennis and golfing. She was an avid Chicago Cubs fan and Chicago Bears Football enthusiast. She loved her fur babies, Teddy and Mitsy.

She is survived by her parents, Stanley and Delcie Miller of Loves Park; sister, Terry (Brian) Byrne of Rockford, brother, Michael (Tiffany Bybee) Miller of Roscoe; and niece, Briana (David) Dettmer of Roscoe.

A private family service will be held at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, 1860 S. Mulford Road, Rockford 61108.
