Dean P. McMorris, 79, Rockford, died at 1:15 p.m., Friday, February 8, 2008 in his home. Born April 27, 1928 in Kewanee, IL. son of Paul and Lucille Houle McMorris. Veteran of the U.S. Army. Employed as a Regional Architect for the Illinois Department of Public Health. Member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church and Alpine Kiwanis Club. Survivors include his sister, Marilyn (Bob) Heyn, Tucson, AZ. and his nephews, Gordon and David Greve of Renton, WA. Predeceased by his parents and his wife, Patricia. No services will be held at this time. The family was assisted by Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd.
