Dawn M. Bouma

Dawn M. Bouma, 65, of Rockford, Il passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2022. She was born May 31, 1957, in Rockford, IL the daughter of Mortimer and Doris (Divan) Wilson. Dawn attended Rockford West High School. Dawn married the love of her life, Brian Bouma, on June 11, 1977. Dawn was a devoted wife and mother to her daughter, Star. She had a gentle spirit and was always there to lend a hand. Dawn loved playing BINGO with her aunt, Sis. Dawn will forever be in the hearts and minds of those who knew and loved her.

Dawn is survived by her beloved husband of 45 years, Brian; granddaughter, Bryanna; siblings, Jasper (Nancy) Wilson, Mary (Denny) Neste, Denise (Tommy) Beyer; sisters-in-law, Linda (Rick) Bates and Karen (Jeff) Rust, numerous nieces, and nephews. Dawn is preceded in death by her parents, Mortimer, and Doris; daughter, Star; siblings, Suzanne Strang, Steven Wilson and Stanley Wilson; brother-in-law, Tom Bouma.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 7, 2022, from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Riverside Chapel, 3910 N. Rockton Ave. Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Anthony Maynard presiding. Burial at Arlington Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family for a cause to be determined.
