David W. "Bill" Divan

David W. “Bill” Divan, 62, Rockford, passed away Thursday, December 16, 2021, at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center. He was born December 3, 1959, in Freeport IL, the son of Anne Pearson and David L. Divan. Bill was a graduate of Hononegah High School, class of 1978. He was a veteran of the Navy serving during the Persian Gulf War.
Bill was a very loving son, father, and grandfather – his main priority was spending time with his family. He enjoyed playing golf, softball, and was an avid Chicago Cubs and San Francisco 49ers fan. He worked for Rock Valley Distributing in Rockford for over 30 years.
Survived by his son, David (Caroline) Divan of Dallas, TX; his daughter, Jordyn (Jazz Beck) Divan of Beaver Dam, WI; his 3 grandchildren; his mother, Anne (Richard) Kiessling of Hot Springs Village, Ark; his brother, Mark Divan and 2 sisters, Deborah Clarke and Rebecca Divan all of Rockford; 1 niece and 1 nephew. Predeceased by his father, David Lee Divan.
A visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. on Monday, December 20, 2021, at Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd. Rockford.
