David "Terry" Harned

David “Terry” Harned 69 of Rockford passed away Saturday November 28, 2015 in Alpine Fireside. He was born March 19, 1946 in Rockford, the son of William and Elsie Harned. He married Marla Cottrell on February 1, 1969. Terry worked for Co-Lin Metals Inc. for over 30 years. He attended high school in Greenville, South Carolina and then went on to graduate from Wofford College in Spartanburg, SC. Terry was a sports enthusiast, particularly loved golf, bowling and tennis. The biggest interest in his life were his boys and in recent years his grandchildren have been added.
Survivors include his Wife, Marla. Two sons, Aaron (Tui) Harned of Rockford, Mark Harned of Rockford. Grandchildren, Madeleine, Tobias and Mavis. Brother William R. (Ann) Harned of Monroe Center. Sister, Pennie (Dave) Roberts of Columbus, SC. Nieces and nephews and many special friends. Predeceased by his parents.
