David K. Young

David Keith Young 60 of Rockford passed away Saturday March 7. 2015 in Swedish American Hospital. He was born July 21, 1954 in Rockford, the son of W. Cloves and W. Mae Young. He attended Auburn High School. He then worked at Sundstrand for over 25 years. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, collecting many things and a Bears Fan.
Survivors include his two children, Joseph (Stacey) Young of Rockford and Sarah (Anthony) Lewis of Rockford. Grandchildren, Tyler, Alex and AJ plus his three Tornadoes. Girlfriend, Krisann Collier. Stepsons, Richard Collier and Justin (Kristy) Collier. Three step grandchildren, Justin, Konner and Corey. Sister, Billie Pooley and Numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents. Sister, Brenda Morrison and Brother in law, Robert Pooley and Molly Young. The family would like to thank the staff at Swedish American Hospital and also to Lindsay, Vicki, Steve, Sharon, Mike, Bill and Larry, thank you all for your dedication.
Funeral service at 1pm Thursday March 12, 2105 in Fitzgerald Funeral Home 1860 S. Mulford Road. Visitation from 10am until 1pm Thursday in the funeral home. Burial in Tyronza, AR at a later date. Express online condolences atwww.fitzgeraldfh.com
