David E. Lundquist

David E. “Dave” Lundquist, 70, Oregon, passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2016, at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. He was born November 18, 1945, the son of Harry and Isabel (Tinnel) Lundquist. Dave married Kathryn Cassidy in Rockford on July 25, 1965. He owned and operated Lundquist Graphics with his wife since 1976. He began farming in recent years along with operating the business. He grew up living on the Rock River and enjoyed all outdoor sports especially hunting, fishing, and boating. Dave was a great story teller and was known by his friends as a great “conversationalist”. He was dedicated to his work and his family and loved to spend time with them, especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Kathryn; his children, Keren Lundquist of Rockford, Michelle (Kurt) Lassard of Davis Junction, David (Margaret) Lundquist of Loves Park, Michael (Tiffany) Lundquist of Roscoe, Maria (Tony) Nozzi of Virginia, Timothy (Kristen) Lundquist of Davis Junction, and Samuel Lundquist of Oregon; his 28 grandchildren, Carrie (Lincoln), Matthew, Ryan, Abigail, Jacob, Joseph, Madeline, Elijah, Lucas, Cameron, Mary-Margaret, Angel, Andrea, Adriana, Mikaela, Austin, Samantha, Katie, Michael, Elizabeth, Darian, William, Sofia, Ryne, Logan, Heidi, Samuel Isaac, Jr, and Mackenzie; his great-grandchildren, Gavin, Collin, Jordan, and Adam; his 3 sisters and numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Predeceased by his parents, in-laws, and his brother.
Funeral services will be a 12:30 P.M., Saturday, November 12, 2016, at Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S, Mulford Rd. Rockford. Burial in Daysville Cemetery in Oregon.
