Darrell Adams

Darrell Adams, 78 of Rockford, died unexpectedly on July 23, 2013 in his home. Born June 15, 1935 in Peach Orchard, Arkansas the son of Chester and Mabel (Waters) Adams. He lived in Arkansas until he was 18 and then moved to Rockford. Darrell worked at Amerock as a tool and die maker for 46 years, retiring in 2000. Survivors include his sons, Michael (Kathleen) Adams of Machesney Park and Darrell Adams of Pasadena, CA; grandchildren, Brett and Jennifer Adams of Machesney Park; sisters, Sue Maxwell of Glendale, AZ; Gloria Heppner of Gold Canyon, AZ and Linnette Celletti of Rockford. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Betty Reynolds. A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2013 from 10 A.M. -12 p.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Riverside Chapel 3910 N. Rockton Ave. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family for a fund to be established at a later date.
