Darla Lou Siegrist

Darla Lou Siegrist, 57, Kirkland, passed away peacefully in her home, surrounded by her loving family, on Wednesday, February 8, 2012. She was born November 3, 1954, in Red Bud, Illnois, the daughter of Louis and Paulagene (Reed) Pechenino.Darla was a registered nurse and a teacher who enjoyed helping others. She was very fond of animals. In 2009, she and Gary adopted a dog that she named Tiki, who became her constant companion.Survived by her loving husband, Gary; daughter, Julie (Mike) Oberheim; son, Kenneth Siegrist; grandson, Andrew Oberheim; parents, Louis and Paulagene Pechenino; and brother, Paul (Susan) Pechenino.At Darlas request, there will be no services. Cremation rites will be accorded. A private memorial celebration will be held by the family at a later date. Arrangements by Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Mulford Chapel. 1860 S.
