Daniel Patrick Fox

Daniel Patrick Fox, 66, Rockford, died Wednesday, December 23, 2015 in his home. He was born on July 19, 1949 in Rockford, IL, the son of Jack and Martha (Brush) Fox. He served in the United States Army in the 101st Airborne during Vietnam. He worked as a mechanic at Sears for nearly 37 years.

He is survived by his loving soul mate of 25 years, Martha Durham; his children Tina (Wade) Fox and Bradley Fox; his step-children Amy (Dan) Morris, Monica (Jimmie) Meyers, and Jamie (Tanya) Durham; his grandchildren Tuff, Tyler, Austin, Alex, Kennedie, Karlie, and Cale; his father Jack Fox; his brother John (Sandy) Fox; his step-brother Doug (Sandy) Fox; many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his mother and sister.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at 4 P.M. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Riverside Chapel, 3910 N. Rockton Avenue, Rockford. A visitation will be held from 3 P.M. until time of service. Inurnment private. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society appreciated.
