Dale True

Dale True Sr. 67 of Machesney Park, passed away at 3:45 am Tuesday September 15, 2009 in his home, with his family from lung cancer.  He was born December 22, 1941 in Baraboo, WI.  Son of Clyde and  Alice True.  He lived 30 years in Rockford, coming from the Republic of Panama.  He married Audrey M. True on August 26, 1975.   Dale served 22 years in the Army and retired as Sergeant 1 st Class.  He was a veteran of the Vietnam War.Survivors include his wife Audrey, Son; Dale True Jr, Daughters; Ivette, Jeanette and Annette.  10 grandchildren and 5 Great grandchildren, brothers and sisters; Norm, Clifford, Lonnie and Betty.  He was predeceased by his parents, sister; Faye True.Funeral Mass at 10am Friday September 18, 2009 in St. Bridget Church with Father Bert Absalon officiating.  Private Internment.  Visitation on Thursday September 17 th from 6pm until 8pm in Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Riverside Chapel  3910 N. Rockton Ave..
