Cynthia "Cindy" Marie Tarara

Cynthia “Cindy” Marie Tarara, 45, of Stillman Valley, passed away Saturday, September 7, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 1, 1974, in Rockford, the daughter of Richard and Pamela (Sanders) Ianni. Cindy graduated from Boylan Catholic High School, the class of 1992. She married Joseph (Joe) Tarara at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church on September 21, 1997. Cindy enjoyed cooking, sewing, reading and spending time with family and friends. Her strong faith led her to always see the bright side of what life threw at her. Cindy was a great wife, mother, sister, daughter/daughter in law, aunt, and friend to all who knew her and will be deeply missed.
Survived by her husband, Joe; children, Diego, Grace, Lilian and Richard; parents, Richard and Pamela; father-in-law Diego (Denise);siblings, Tracie, Chrissy (Todd), Jaime, and Mindy; sister-in-law Rosaria (William); brothers-in-law Sal (Amy), and Anthony (Elizabeth); many nieces and nephews and best friend Elizabeth Rundblade. Predeceased by her grandparents and mother-in-law, Antoinette Tarara.
The family would like to thank the Doctors and staff at the UW Carbone Cancer Center, the 7th Floor staff at Swedish American Hospital and Ann, Joyce, Nikki, Denise and Carol for their care and compassion.
Funeral Mass will be held Friday, September 13th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 1010 Ferguson Street, Rockford Illinois. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 12, 2019 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, 1860 S. Mulford Road, Rockford Illinois, and will continue at church on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until Mass. Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens in Machesney Park, Illinois.
