Curt F. Johnson

Curt F. Johnson, 62, of Machesney Park passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2013 in his home. Born December 9, 1950 in Rockford, the son of Ted and Mary Ellen (O'Brien) Johnson. Curt graduated from Boylan Central Catholic High School, Class of 1969. He worked for the Rockford Park District for 30 years, retiring in 2013 as a Manager of Maintenance Services. Curt loved taking trips on his Harley and working on the landscaping in his yard.

Survived by his sons, Nels and Derek (Toni); grandchildren, Sean, Derek Jr., Austin and Zachary; brothers, Gordy, Chuck and Bill and several nephews and a niece. Predeceased by his parents.

Memorial Service will be at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, July 19, 2013 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 South Mulford Road. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service on Friday at the funeral home.
