Constance “Connie” “Alex” K. Alexander, 76, of Rockford, passed away Sunday, March 11, 2018. She was born November 30, 1941, in Rockford, Illinois, the daughter of Calvin and Bertha (Branch) Alexander. Constance worked for many years as a registered dietician and was a member of the American Dietetic Association. Constance had a clever, quick wit and a unique sense of humor. She enjoyed cooking, reading and was a talented writer. Constance found comfort in the outdoors, especially around her horses and tending to her birds. She will be missed dearly and forever remembered as a loving sister, aunt, grand aunt and friend.
Survived by her sisters, Armida Alexander, Bette Weber and Sandra Campbell; numerous nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents and brother, Lawrence L. Alexander. The family would like to thank the compassionate and caring staff of Swedish American Hospital’s critical care unit.
