Clarence F. Planthaber, 64, Rockford, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, April 27, 2019, at SwedishAmerican Hospital after a sudden illness. He was born in Morrison, Il, the son of Clarence and Etta (Williams) Planthaber. Clarence married May Sago. He drove for Big John Portable Toilets in Oregon for 30 years. Clarence was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Survived by his wife, May; his daughter, Marcia (Lonnie) Robinson; his step-son, Bernard Sage; his granddaughter, Mlaya Sago; his siblings, Henry Planthaber of Monona, WI, Harold (Dora) Planthaber of Princeton, and Marion (Thomas) Derry of Dupue ; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his siblings, Floyd, Planthaber, Margaret Terry, and Wesley Planthaber.
