Clara Belle Susie Clark

"Loving Wife, Mother and Nana" Clara Belle "Susie" Clark, 78 of Rockford passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2008 in her home surrounded by her family. Born October 4, 1929 in Howard, PA to Miles and Florence (Neff) Bartley. Susie married Vern Clark in Riverdale, IL on April 9, 1949. Susie was a beautician for many years and was also a member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Riverdale, IL. She enjoyed making dolls and cherished her dear grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Susie was a proud woman who never complained. Susie is survived by her husband Vern, children David (Sara) Clark, Donna (Lee) Caldwell, Debbie (Paul) Kempson and daughter No.3 Janie Schuessler (Al). Grandchildren Toni (Collin) Smith, Monica (Kevin) Broechling, Amanda (Tim) Musselman, Andrea Kempson, Erick Clark (Brandy), Bridgette Clark, Caroline Clark and great-grandchildren Emma Kempson and Ethan Smith. Sisters Beck (Bob) Duensing, Rose Phillips, Vera Brunbaugh, Dorothy (Max) Harter, Jane Morehead, Ruth (Joe) Wurtzbacher. Brothers Carl Bartley, Doyle (Bonnie) Bartley and numerous loving nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents and brothers Don and Phillip Bartley. Funeral Service will be Saturday, March 8, 2008 at 3:00 pm in Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Road with the Rev. Reid Matthias officiating. Visitation will be from 6-8 pm Friday in the funeral home and from 2:00 pm until time of service. Interment will follow in Arlington Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the family. To
