Christopher A. Mizyk

Christopher A. Mizyk, 70, of Rockford, took his final bow on Wednesday, July 24, 2024. He was born in Chicago, IL, on April 29, 1954, the son of Raymond and Barbara Mizyk.

Christopher was known not only for his musical talent but also for his kind and gentle demeanor. Those closest to him remember him as a loving husband and a loyal friend. His wife, Victoria Woolcott, was his pillar of strength and constant companion through the highs and lows of life.

In his free time, Christopher found joy in playing music and sharing his gift with others. His dedication to his craft inspired those around him. He particularly enjoyed playing with his band, Medicine Man.

Sadly, Christopher's journey came to an end after a long battle. His sudden passing has left a void in the hearts of all who knew him. However, his legacy lives on through the beautiful melodies he created and the memories he shared with those he loved.

He is survived by his wife, Victoria; his parents, Raymond and Barbara; his daughters, Kate Kubicki, Donna Woolcott, and Krysta Nash; his three granddaughters and three grandsons.

May his melodies continue to echo in our hearts forevermore.
