Christina M. (Phelan) Northrup, 50Loving Mother, Daughter and Sister Christina M. (Phelan) Northrup, 50, of Loves Park, died Sunday, April 18, 2010 in her home. Born July 28, 1959, in Rockford, daughter of Michael R. and Mary E. Kuhl Phelan. Graduated from Boylan High School in 1977 and attended Rock Valley College. Member of Shepherd Of The Valley Lutheran Church. She had previously been employed by BDO Seidman. Prior to that she worked at Catholic Cemeteries and Cooper-Lybrand. Chris was a kind and loving woman who was always generous and unselfish. Her world revolved around her son and she was a great mom to him. Survivors include her son, Matthew; parents, Mike and Mary Phelan; sister, Miki Bodoh; brother, Jeffrey Phelan; niece, Carissa Phelan; great-nephew, Tye Lee; great-niece, Anna Marie; aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends, Linda Pozzi and Ron Kliver. Predeceased by her grandparents. A funeral service will be held at 10:00am on Monday, April 26, 2010 in Shepherd Of The Valley Lutheran Church with Rev. Janet Wold officiating. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation from 4-6 p.m. Sunday in Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd.
