Charlotte M. Albrecht

Charlotte M. Albrecht, 76 of Rockford, died Sunday, June 21, 2009 at Rockford Memorial Hospital after a long battle with emphysema. Born, December 28, 1932 in Dixon to William and Nina (Bott) Jeffery. Graduate of West High School class of 1950. Married Edwin Albrecht on Feb. 12, 1969. Char was involved with various winning womens league baseball teams and played with former Rockford Peaches players. She worked for Sinclair/Arco for several years and retired from Kaney Transportation (KTI) after 20 years. She was a member of the Polish Falcons and over the years she took pride in raising Nubian Goats and fishing with her husband at their cottage in Hayward, WI. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to her Dr. and 2 very special nurses, Brandy and Laurie and RMH. Survivors include her daughter Diane (Wilson) Enfinger of Winnebago; granddaughter, Ame Enfinger of Huntsville, AL; brother, William Jeffery of Zephyr Hills, FL and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Edwin, sister, Frances (Vern) McNinch; sister-in-law, Elaine Jeffery, and nephews Neal and Walter McNinch. At Charlottes request all services are private. Cremation rites accorded by Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Mulford chapel.
