Lived 60 years in Rockford, coming from Opdyke, Il. Served in the United States Army. Married Joann Landolt in Rockford. Retired from Sjostrom Construction after 42 years. Survivors; Mother, Mildred; Son, Charles Raymond Creed; Daughters Tracey Jo Creed and Kim Cooper; Sisters, Viola Kramer, Wilma (Edwin) Ulrich, Iola (Larry) Goldman, Ruth (Jerry) Rightnowar; Brothers, Jesse, Donald (Debbie) Howard, Terri, Alan, James (Vivian) and Ronnie (Diane), 8 grandkids and 3 great-grandkids. Predeceased by wife, JoAnn; Dad, Clyde Creed Brother-in-law Jack Kramer; Son-in-law Scott Cooper and grandson Kyle. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 29, 2010 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory (Mulford Chapel) 1860 S. Mulford Rd. Funeral Service will be Saturday, May 1, 2010 in Osborn Funeral Home in Dix, Il at 2p.m. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family.
