Grandma Chanhkeo Keovongsoth was born on January 12, 1922 in Savannakhet, Laos. She came to the US in 1987. She was a strong, determined and fiercely independent women. Grandma Chanhkeo Keovongsoth is survived by her son, Xiem (Tuyet ) Dileuth, son Nom (Noui) Keovongsoth, son in law Sudasit (Onela) Phathanasombath Survived by nephews Hung (Thiamchanh) Nguyen and Jim (Virginia) Nguyen Survived by Grand children Nara Sombath, Ladda (Roger) Abando, Neda (Chet) Sati Dzuy (Kim) Dileuth, Toan (Veronica) Dileuth, Tai Dileuth, Kim Chau (Vinh) Dileuth Jason, Jessica, and Jonas Keovongsoth, Fee (Judy) Chalensisouk She was preceded in death by her daughter, Seng Phathanasombath Grandma Chanhkeo Keovongsoth enjoyed being with her family members. She loved to knit, sew and play on her Ipad. She was a member of Lao Evangelical Free Church. She was a strong believe in God and a devoted Christian. She confided in Pasor Von Siphengphone and appreciated him.
A private graveside service will take place at Arlington Memorial Park Cemetery. A public Celebration of Life will be on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at 12:00 pm at Lao Evangelical Free Church, 5881 35th Street, Rockford, IL 61109. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
