Cecil G. Neace

Cecil G. Neace, 36, of Loves Park, passed away on Friday, August 26, 2022.

Cecil was born in Chicago, IL on November 10, 1985, son of Charlie L. Neace Sr. and Sherry Williams. He was a man of very strong Christian faith and read his bible every day. Cecil enjoyed spending his time fishing, lifting weights every day at home and was a die-hard Chicago Bears Fan. He was strong-willed and determined to do whatever it took to help others and care for those in need. Cecil was loved by so many and will be greatly missed.

Those left to honor Cecil’s memory include his daughter, Alaina; mother, Sherry Williams; siblings, Charlie Neace (Annetta Green), Jo Ann-Faith Neace and Jacob Neace; nieces and nephews, Tristen, Emma, Jasmine, Caitlynn, MaKayla, Ethan, Abel, Noah and Thomas; special family member, Tommy Meeks who cared for Cecil like his own family, mentoring him in life and helped him begin his career with NAPA. Cecil is predeceased by his father, Charlie Neace Sr., brother, Jason Neace; maternal grandparents, Cecil Gordan Williams, Bernice Williams (Chester Soback) and paternal grandparents, Roscoe (Beatrice) Neace.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 16, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. with visitation from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, 1860 S Mulford Rd. Rockford, IL 61108.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family of Cecil Neace.
