Carshon Shonie Lieber-Lane

Carshon "Shonie" Asche Lieber-Lane,79, of Rockford, passed away peacefully in her daughters home, May 12th, 2010, surrounded by loved ones. Born April 2nd, 1931, in Pecatonica, to John "Boots" and Ada (Schaeny) Asche. Married to Howard "Red" Lieber on Aug. 25th, 1951 until Red passed away on Sept. 22nd, 1973. Married to Robert Lane Feb. 25th, 1984 until Bob passed away on Nov. 27th, 2008. She worked many years at Amerock, North Town Manor and Atwoods. Member of Central Christian Church and many organizations. She had a very fulfilling life and was fortunate to have two wonderful husbands to share it with. She worked and played hard and had FUN doing it. She is survived by a son, Steven (Shirley) Lieber ,a daughter, Penny (Phil) Burleson. Grandchildren, Rebecca (Ben) Tuula, Stacey Lieber, Philip John Howard Burleson and Shawn Howard Lieber Burleson. Great-grandchildren, Nathan Lieber, Brianna Lieber and Kaiden Burleson. Many nieces, nephews, and friends. Predeceased byher parents, both husbands, 3 brothers and 5 sisters. Shone was the baby and the last of her siblings. Penny would like to thank the kind people from Transitions Hospice. A special thanks to Teresa, P.J., Jess, Kaiden, Shawn, Jenn and Elaine who helped me through this journey. Memorial service at Central Christian Church, 6595 Guilford Rd. at 6p.m. Thursday, May 20, 2010. Private Burial at Sunset and Garden Bluff in Lodi, WI.
