Carolyn V. Conboy

Carolyn V. Conboy, 76, of Rockford, passed away peacefully March 30, 2018, in her home, surrounded by her loving family. Born July 12, 1941, in Rockford, the daughter of Stephen & Adele (Kuczynski) Bonzi. Graduated from Muldoon High School, class of 1959. She later attended Marquette University. Married Robert Conboy in Rockford, on August 17, 1963 at St. Bernadette Church. Member of Cathedral of St. Peter. Carolyn enjoyed gardening, making soft sculptures, sewing, knitting and crocheting.
She is survived by her loving husband Robert; children, David Conboy, Jennifer (Mike) Velletta, Margaret Perrin and Matthew Conboy; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; brother Steven Bonzi and sister Susan Bonzi. Predeceased by parents.
Funeral mass will be Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at the Cathedral of St. Peter, 1243 N Church St, Rockford, IL. Visitation from 5-7 pm Monday, April 2, 2018 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, 3910 N.
