Rockford Carolyn V. Huddlestun, 92 of Rockford died Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at P.A. Peterson Center for Health. Born on February 18, 1920 in Rockford; daughter of Arthur and Amy (Johnson) Carlson. Married Paul Huddlestun in Belvidere on August 23, 1941. Carolyn worked for Rockford Standard Furniture, Fannie Mae and as a bookkeeper for her and her< husbands business, Huddlesuns Glass Service. Member of St. Rita Catholic Church, a Pink Lady at St. Anthonys and past president of the Altar and Rosary Society of St Rita Church.nbsp; Carolyn was a wonderful cook and especially enjoyed cooking Swedish dishes for her family and friends.nbsp;

Survivors include her daughters, Kathleen (Jerry) Vorwald and Mary (Gordon) Moscinski both of Rockford; grandchildren, Christine (Loren) Mears, Michelle (Eric) Shields, Janet (Joe) Mellenthin, and Todd (Kim) Moscinski; greatgrandchildren Conner, Travis and Jesse Mears, Kol and Sofie Shields, Elle and Kiera Moscinski; sister; Marjorie Coonradt and sisterinlaw, Josephine Garrigan. Predeceased by her parents and husband Paul. The family would like to give a special thanks to PA Peterson and OSF Hospice.

Funeral Mass 11:00 am Friday, August 24, 2012 at St. Rita Catholic Church, 6254 Valley Knoll Drive with Fr. David Peck officiating. Burial in St. James Cemetery, Belvidere.
