Caroline R. (Price) Crown

Caroline R. (Price) Crown, 83, of Rockford, passed away February 8, 2018 at Medina Nursing Home, Durand, IL. Born November 12, 1934 in Freeport, IL, the daughter of Guy & Dorothy (O’Neil) Mead. She married Roland Robert Price and they had five children together. She then married Abram Julian Crown on August 4, 1979. She managed at the Swiss Colony Store on the Square in Monroe, WI, then later worked as a florist. She enjoyed crafts, flowers, collecting angels and deer statues, she was a devoted Chicago Bulls and Cubs fan, but most of all she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Survivors include children Roger (Marilyn) Price, Rhonda (Robert) Church, Rebecca (Mark) Strang and Randall (Nicole) Price; 7 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents; sisters Dorothy Swift and Nancy Bast; brother Tom Mead and infant child Beth Ann Price.
