Caroline "Carol" M. Femminella

Caroline “Carol” M. Femminella, 79, of Rockford, passed away on December 6, 2022. She was born on December 10, 1942, in Rockford, the daughter of Hugh and Velda (Billig) Cameron. She married Buddy “Bud” Femminella on June 23, 1962, in Rockford. She attended St. Anthony Catholic Church and recently Faith Center Church. She was a member of the Blackhawk Athletic Club. Carol absolutely adored her pets, especially her cat Wally. She enjoyed gardening, going for drives, and eating out together with friends, especially her sister, Peggy.

She is survived by her son, Tony (Jane) Femminella; kitty, Wally; grandchildren, Rachel Femminella, Lauren Vanags Davis, and Sarah Vanags; sisters, Peggy Frint and Cathy Antinucci; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is predeceased by her parents; husband, Bud; brother, Earl Parlee; brother-in-laws, Robert Frint and Johnny Antinucci; and pets Kodi, Bear, Brownie, Gretchen, Rocki and Kitty.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 18, 2022, at 3:00 pm, at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, 1860 S. Mulford Road, Rockford 61108. A visitation will take place prior to the service starting at 1:00 pm. Treats from Carol’s goodie tray will be served after the service.
