Carole J. Moore

Carole “Lou” J. Moore, 89, passed away on Thursday, February 9, 2023, at Wesley Willows in Rockford, IL. Carole was born in Rockford, IL to Clarence and Myrtle (Peterson) Flood on May 10, 1933. She is predeceased in death by her mother and sisters, Jaroldean Stanfa and Marilyn Stump. Carole was a proud graduate of East High School, class of 1951. Carole was known for her love of quotations, kind heart and spreading positivity to all she met. She will be deeply missed.

She is survived by one son Michael (Mary) Moore; one daughter Lynn Schermerhorn and (former son-in-law Rick Schermerhorn); her grandson Ryan (Jenna) Schermerhorn and granddaughter Jennifer Schermerhorn; several loved ones and life-long friends.
