Carol A. Irvin

Carol Ann Irvin, 74, of Rockford, passed away on October 24, 2024. She was born on March 7, 1950, in Rockford, the daughter of Alfred and Dorothy (Guffey) Carpenter. She married Jack Irvin on October 2, 1971, in Rockford, and spent 53 years together. She worked as a secretary for Our Savior's Lutheran Church. Carol had a love for animals, crafting, cooking, and baking. 

She is survived by her husband, Jack; sons, Nathan and Matthew (Jennifer); grandchildren, Sydney and Olivia; sisters, Carli (Carl) Jensen and Connie Harker; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents.
