Carol F. D'Antone

Carol F. D’Antone, 84, of Rockford, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, August 21, 2016 in her home. She was born on March 14, 1932 in Rockford, the daughter of Carl and Sigrid (Hanson) Warner. She graduated East High School in 1949. She met the love of her life, Frank D’Antone, and the two married on April 11, 1953 in Rockford. Carol worked for the Board of Education for the Rockford Public Schools for many years. Above all else, Carol was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Her family’s happiness was what brought her the most joy, and she gave selflessly to them. She will be deeply missed by all those who knew her.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Frank; her daughters, Vanessa D’Antone and Valerie (Scott Hull) D’Antone; her granddaughter Kayla D’Antone. Predeceased by her parents.
