Carol Ann Dietz

Carol Ann Dietz, 83, Rockford, passed away Sunday, February 23, 2014, in Wesley Willows Health Care Center. She was born on July 17, 1930, in Oak Park, the daughter of Charles and Dorothy (Larson) Noble. Carol married Carroll Dietz in Lombard on June 7, 1952. She worked as a secretary at the DuPage County Health Department for many years. Carol was a past member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Lombard.
Survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Carroll; her children, Jeffrey of Lakeville, MN, James of San Bernardino, CA, Mary Ann Sheridan of Dover, DE, Dale of Chesterfield, MO, Jane Ellen of Valparaiso, IN, and Steven of Stillman Valley; 15 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and her sister Meg (Jack) Cambell of Cody, WY.
Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, February 27, 2014, at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 2400 Bell Av. Family burial on Friday at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood. Arrangements Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Riverside Chapel, 3910 N. Rockton Av. Rockford. A memorial service for Carol will be held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, March 1, 2014, in the John's Chapel located in Wesley Willow's main building on the East side of Rockton Av.
