Carlos "Los" Roman Jr.

Carlos “Los” Roman Jr,. 46, passed away tragically on January 15, 2024, in Cicero, Illinois. Born in Rockford, Illinois on February 10, 1977, son of Carlos Roman Ramirez and Rosita Garza. Los was a loving father, dedicated son, and a loving brother. If you knew him, you would know he had a heart of gold and a genuine love of laughing and joking. He had a passion for motorcycles, cars, ATVs, dirt bikes, and the White Sox. He also enjoyed spending time with his friends. You could count on him for a nice haircut too! His family will never feel the same without him and he will be missed tremendously.

He is survived by his children, Aron Roman, Andy (Alexis Reyes) Martinez, Ariana Orozco, and Marissa Zamudio; his grandchildren Andy Jr, and Benny Martinez; his parents Carlos and Rosita; his siblings Rodrigo (Melissa Villarreal) Roman and Maricella (Venancio Cervantes) Garza; his nieces and nephews Rosita Roman and Juliana Villarreal, Alex Martinez, Gabriel, and Ivan Cervantes; numerous beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He is predeceased by his grandparents and his nephew Miguel Hernandez.

A visitation will take place on Thursday, January 25, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, 1860 S. Mulford Road, Rockford, Illinois 61108. Funeral Service will take place the following day, Friday, January 26, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Edward Catholic Church 3004 11th Street, Rockford, Illinois 61109.
