Carl C. Volanti

Carl C. Volanti, 74, of Rockford passed away Saturday, September 19, 2015 at OSF St. Anthony with his family by his side. Born April 19, 1941 in Chicago to Ignatius Volanti and Gelorma Campagna. He was the proud owner and operator of Five Points Video Audio. He was a wonderful father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend to many.
Survivors include his daughters Therese (Terry) Beesley, Jill Volanti, and Aimee Loeper; his sons Chris (Wauneta) Volanti, and Troy (Lauren) Volanti; 16 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; brothers Paul Volanti, and Henry (Marge) Volanti; sister Maria Ella (Eddie) Strobl; and very dear friend John Keecher. Predeceased by his parents.
Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at 6 p.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, 1860 S. Mulford Road. Visitation Wednesday from 5 p.m. until time of service. Burial Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside, on Thursday, September 24, 2015 at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family appreciated.
