Camela Lee Weber

Camela L. (Cammi) Weber, 41, of Rockford died peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 in her home, after a courageous head on battle with cancer. She was born on February 19, 1974 in Belvidere the daughter of Margit E. Benthom-Edmison. A native of Cherry Valley, who at a very young age, was already gracing people with her beautiful voice. She was born with fiery red hair and a microphone in her hand ready to share her amazing voice with the world. She lived to perform and bring love and joy to any audience. She was a multi-talented individual with a flair for sales, organization, business, and her never ending generosity in helping others. Her obsession and love for Mickey Mouse followed her throughout her life. She married her loving husband, Eric Weber in 2011 in Rockford and together had a beautiful daughter, Kaylee. The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to her very dear friends and family that have been by her side and kept the smile on her face.
She is survived by her husband, Eric Weber and their daughter, Kaylee both of Rockford; mothers, Margit Edmison and Joyce Rammon of Virginia; brother, Colin (Kristin) Edmison of Rockford; sisters, Cathi Leibinger of FL and Christi Kelly of Virginia; nieces Bailey and Maddix of Rockford; Lexi and Lauren of Virginia ; father and mother-in-law; Dennis (Janice) Weber of Poplar Grove. She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
Funeral service Sunday, January 10, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd. Visitation will be Saturday, January 9, 2016 from 3-7 p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, Cammi requested for her family and friends to bring a favorite photo of her with a memory to share with Kaylee.
