Adolph "Bud" Timm, 78 of Rockford, died Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2010 in his home from a lengthy illness. Born Jan. 29, 1931 in Rockford to Alfred and Carmel (Rampa) Timm. Graduated from St. Thomas in 1949. Married Maureen Frances Sutton on September 29, 1951, Bud has been a member of the Carpenters Union 792 for 55 years, retiring from Schmeling Construction Company and was a former member of the Model T Club. Survivors include his children, Steve (Rita) Timm of Fernley, NV, Denise (Don) Roloff of Roscoe, Brian (Valerie) Timm, Sue (Mark) Fischer and Mary (Brad) Shuck all of Rockford; grandchildren, Corey, Amanda, Alan, Jennifer, Emily, Jason; 10 great grandchildren with the 11 th due in July and very special friends, Priscilla Ianni. Preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Carmel Timm; wife, Maureen F. Timm and two sisters, Mary and Suzanne. Funeral Mass Saturday, Jan. 30, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 2400 Bell Ave. Interment in Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation Friday, Jan. 29 from 6-8 p.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Riverside Chapel 3910 N. Rockton Ave. with a rosary to be recited at 8 p.m. Visitation continues from 9 to 9:45 in the Parish Hall. In lieu of flowers memorials to the family.
