Brittany "Britt" K. Bair

Brittany “Britt” K. Bair, 32, of Lisle, formerly of Rockford, passed away June 8, 2018, after a courageous battle with brain cancer. Born June 2, 1986 in Rockford; she is the daughter of Frank Buscemi and Brie (Speracino) Kuster. She married Stephen Bair on July 13, 2013 in Rockford.
A graduate of Boylan Catholic High School, class of ’04, she graduated from Roosevelt University: Chicago, with a B.S. in Psychology and a minor in Human Resources.
Britt loved animals, photography, traveling, obstacle course races and being charitable and caring for others in need.
She is lovingly survived by her husband, Stephen Bair; parents, Frank Buscemi and Brie (Marcus) Kuster; sisters, Lauren (Alex) Brackett, Jennifer Buscemi and Kayla Kuster; grandparents, Phil Speracino, Salvatore Buscemi, Donna Thompson and Dorothy Kuster; in-laws, Robert and Dori Bair; brother-in-law, Lucas (Jennifer) Bair; sister-in-law, April Thompson; nieces, Jasmyn, Faith and Audrey (Britt’s god-daughter); her fur babies, Oliver and Leslie; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Johanna Buscemi and Shirley Speracino; grandfather, Richard “Pa” Kuster; uncle, Phil Speracino; grandparents-in-law, Ervin and Margaret Bair.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Saturday, June 16, 2018, at St. James Catholic Church, 428 N. 2nd Street, Rockford. Visitation from 4 until 8 p.m. Friday, June 15, 2018 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, 1860 S. Mulford Rd, Rockford. Visitation will continue from 9 a.m. until time of service Saturday June 16, 2018 at the church. Burial in Calvary Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family.
