Brian Robert Rehnberg, 50, Rockford, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, December 25, 2022.
He was born in Rockford on August 11, 1972, the son of Robert and Barbara (Peaslee) Rehnberg. Brian was graduate of Rockford East High School. He married Jennifer Fiorenza on March 18, 2006, in Rockford. He served with the Cherry Valley Fire Department for 1999 to 2006 and from 2006 until the present time with North Park Fire Department. He served with the Kirkland Fire Department and Lifeline ambulance. Brian grew up attending Maywood Free Church and most recently attended City First Church.
Survived by his loving wife, Jennifer; his son Jacob; his parents, Robert and Barbara Rehnberg; his sister, Beth (Michael) Pasch; his father-in-law, Thomas Fiorenza; his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Liz and Mark Wojciechowski; his niece and nephew, Anna and John Wojciechowski; his aunts, Lynn Rehnberg, Marilyn (Gary) Harleman and Phyllis Stevens; his uncle, James (Linda) Peaslee. Predeceased by his grandparents; his uncles, Chuck and Jack Blakney, James Stevens, Keith and Dennis Peaslee; his mother-in-law, Ann Fiorenza.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at the Mercyhealth Sportscore 2 ISC, 8800 East Riverside Blvd, Loves Park, IL. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until 12:45 P.M. on Tuesday at the Sportscore. A live stream of the funeral will be available by Zoom, meeting ID 864 9452 5302 Passcode 12345. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the North Park Fire Department in Brian's name.
