Bradley J. Denniston

Bradley J. Denniston, 56, of Rockford, passed away on Saturday, March 27, 2021 in his home.

Brad was born in Rockford on June 15, 1964, son of Robert and Anne (Buford) Denniston. He graduated from West High School, Class of 1982. Brad was a proud member of the Phantom Regiment Drum and Bugle Corps of Rockford, IL and the Concord Blue Devils of Concord, CA. He excelled at boxing in his younger years and was an avid sports fan, especially of the Chicago Cubs. Brad enjoyed fishing and loved all animals. One of his greatest accomplishments was donating bone marrow to save his brother, Stephen’s life. He will be dearly missed.

Brad is survived by his brothers, Mike (Cheri) Denniston and Stephen Denniston; nephews, Brady (Rhonda) Denniston and Justin (Ryann) Denniston. He is predeceased by his parents and daughter, Peta Denniston.

Visitation will be from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 2, 2021 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Riverside Chapel 3910 N. Rockton Ave. Rockford, IL 61103. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 3, 2021, also at the funeral home. Those attending services must wear masks and follow social distancing guidelines. Final resting place will be in Willwood Burial Park, Rockford, IL.
