Bonnie Lou Cash

Bonnie Lou Cash, 68, of Rockford, passed away on November 9, 2023. She was born on April 15, 1955, in Rockford, the oldest daughter of Fred and Viola (Lichte) Johnson. She married Dennis Cash on October 22, 1994. Bonnie worked as a receptionist for Van Matre for many years.

She is survived by her sister, Julie (Tom) Beck; nephew, Collin (Courtney) Beck; niece, Kiley (Quinn) Martensen; great nephew, Murphy Martensen and Baby Beck due March 2024; close friends, Connie Grod, Connie “Scoot” Phillips, Nancy McCormick, and Elaine Golackson; and beloved dog, Miss Betty. She is predeceased by her husband, Denny, and parents, Fred and Viola.

A public visitation will be on Saturday, November 18, 2023, from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, 1860 S. Mulford Road, Rockford, IL 61108. A Funeral Service will follow the visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Big Mound Cemetery in Davis Junction.
