Bonnie M. Anderson

ROCKTON - Bonnie Marie Anderson, died May 21, 2024, at her home. She was born on Nov. 6, 1932 in Stronghurst, IL, the daughter of Otto M. and Mable P. (Kidd) Barr. She retired from Sundstrand Corp after 16 years of work as a legal and administrative executive secretary. There-after, she worked as a volunteer for Catholic Charities Refugee Program followed by full-time volunteer work at St. Bernadette Church Office, Rockford, for several years. Since 2003, she was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, So. Beloit and several Ministries.

She is survived by 2 sons: Michael-Reno, NV and Steven Roscoe; one daughter, Lynn- (Brad) Fitz, 4 grandchildren: Jacki (Jeremy), Ryan (Megan), Chad (Tammy), and Lisa (Tim); great-grandchildren, Caleb, Will, Olivia, Alayna, Evelyn, Patrick, Taryn, Hadley and Harper; and numerous nieces and nephews; preceded in death by her one sister, Marge Steinle (Cliff) of Cincinnati. 

A private Mass of Christian Burial took place at St. Peter Catholic Church in South Beloit, Illinois. Burial at Calvary Mausoleum.
