Beulah M. Lauder, 71, Rockford, died at 10:10 p.m. Saturday, July 25, in her home surrounded by her family. Born June 21, 1938 in Minturn, AR, daughter of Alfred and Beatrice Dobbs Crowell. Graduated from Egypt, Arkansas High School. Rockford resident for many years. Married James D. Lauder in Rockford on December 13, 1970. She retired from Bright Side where she had been employed as a receptionist for several years. Beulah was a fun, outspoken woman. She was a great cook, grew beautiful flowers and was completely devoted to her family. Survivors include her son, James D. Lauder; daughters, Annette Marley and Robin (Sid) Bracken; grandchildren, Ashley, Casey, Lindsay, Kyle, Garett, Holly and Brooke, her mother, Beatrice Crowell and her fiance, John Bates. Also survived by her step-children, Jackie Hansen and Daniel Lauder as well as other step-children and step-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Reba McQuay, Dale Crowell, Randall Crowell, Mavis Durham and Norman Crowell and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband in 1995, her father and her grandson, James. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, July 30, 2009 in Fitzgerald Funeral Home amp; Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd. with Rev. J.T. Bean officiating.
