Betty Stout

Betty J. Stout 91 of Rockford passed away Monday, February 17, 2014 in Crimson Pointe. She was born may 26, 1922 in rural Rockford. The daughter of Arnold and Alice Bengston. She attended Oak Grove School on Prairie Road for 8 years and graduated from Rockford High School in 1939.
She married Bill Stout in 1942 and were together for nearly 67 years. In addition to being a homemaker, she worked part time at Sieg-Rockford. Later she worked as a bookkeeper for Paul Conrads Investment Co. And in the office of the Rockford Public Library. She attended Church by the Side of the Road in Rockton for many years. She loved sewing; Knitting and having her grandchildren stay with her.
Survivors include her sons, Robert (Nancy) Stout, Bill (Stacey) Stout, and daughter-in-law Connie (Wayne) Weimer. Grandsons Michael (Birdena) Stout, Thomas (Melissa) Stout, Eric (Becky) Stout and Derek Stout. Granddaughters Sarah (Rob) Fulton and Katherine Stout. Great grandchildren Ryan and Andrea Stout, Troy and Amy Stout, Aidan, Brandon and Paige Stout and Great great grandson Dominic. Nieces Terrie Dian Luna, Beverly Bengston and nephew John (Joan) Bengston. Preceded in death by husband Bill, Son David Stout, and Brother Russell Bengston. Thank you to Northern Illinois Hospice and the staff at Crimson Pointe for the care given our mother.
Funeral Service at 11am Saturday February 22, 2014 in Fitzgerald Funeral Home 3910 N. Rockton Ave. with Pastor Noel Pettenger officiating. Burial in Owen Township Cemetery. Visitation from 10am until service time Saturday in the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St Judes and Animal Shelters.
