Betty J. Wandell

Betty J. Wandell, age 86, passed away the morning of April 30, 2021. Betty was born on March 24, 1935 in Michigan City, Indiana. Married Robert M. Wandell on January 8, 1955 in Michigan City, Indiana.
Betty is survived by her husband of 66 years Robert M. Wandell, 5 children, Barb Wandell, Robert A. (Lorelle) Wandell, Beth (John) Hallstrom, Brian (Lynn) Wandell, and Bruce Wandell, 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Predeceased in death by her parents, Al and Francis Dusza and sister Judy Smith.

A walk through visitation will take place May 4, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, 1860 S. Mulford Road, Rockford, Illinois. Masks and social distancing will be required. Funeral Mass the following day, May 5, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church, 428 N. Second Street, Rockford, Illinois.
