Betty Clevenger

Betty Clevenger, 77, Rockford passed away peacefully at Alpine Fireside on Tuesday, October 27, 2015. She was born February 21, 1938 in Beloit, WI, the daughter of Joseph and Lenore (Snow) Connell. On June 14, 1956 she married her husband, Robert Clevenger. She was a loyal member of Halsted Road Baptist Church and an avid bowler.
Betty is survived by her children Douglas (Paula) Clevenger, Michael Clevenger, and Ronald (Lorri) Clevenger; her 6 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; her sister Janet (Jack) Phillips; her brother David (Sharon) Connell. She is predeceased by her husband; parents; her brother Robert Connell; her sister Marilyn Knowlton.
Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 30, 2015 at 10:30 am at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, 3910 N. Rockton Ave, Rockford. Visitation from 10:00 am until time of service. Interment private at Rock Island National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Halsted Road Baptist Church appreciated.
