Bernice Clark, 89

Bernice Clark, 89, life long resident of Rockford, died on Monday, June 04, 2007 in her home surrounded by her family. Born October 18, 1917, the youngest of ten, to Charles and Helen Domkowski. Married her loving husband Robert F. Clark on June 1, 1940. He nbsp;preceded her in death on July 24, 2006 after 66 years of marriage. Bernice was a member of St. Peter Cathedral and enjoyed gardening with Robert. She is survived by her children, Virginia Stocker (Jan DeForge) of Forreston and Thomas Robert Clark of Rockford; grandchildren, Joan (Mike) Long of Sleepy Hollow, Jeff Sundberg of Miramar, FL and Elli Clark of Rockford; great grandchildren Grant and Candace Long of Sleepy Hollow; special niece Jacquline (Steve) Otto, several additional nieces and nephews. The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to her wonderful care giver, Maria Liokaitiene. She was preceded in death by her husband and siblings, Sophie Kordash, Betty Norick, Helen Zegunis, Lottie Eastman, Mary Casalena, Joe Whitey Domkowski, Steve Domkowski, Walter Domkowski and Stanley Domkowski nbsp; Funeral Services will be held on Friday, June 8, 2007 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home amp; Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S.
