Beatrice A. Whitford

Beatrice Anne Bier Whitford, 65, of Burnsville, Minnesota, previously of Rockford, passed away Monday, May 16, 2016. Born in Janesville, Wisconsin, the daughter of Matthew and Norma Bier, sister to Bob Bier. She graduated from Muldoon High School in 1968. She married Larry (Lawrence) Whitford (passed 1987) and they had three children: Eric James (passed 1972); Sharlin Janell Logid; Lawrence Ralph Whitford, II. During her adult life she worked at Rockford Memorial and later became a Hairstylist and Mail Room Attendant. Larry and Bea enjoyed moving around the midwest and southern part of the US. Bea's heart remained in Louisiana. Bea loved her family, especially her children and grandchildren and was will to do just about anything for them! She loved her friends, dogs, all kinds of art and Classic Rock. She really enjoyed being creative many ways: cake decorating, painting murals, writing silly poems, doodling, pictures, and painting. She had a creative eye for things, as well as seeing the possibilities in what others may call junk. Bea was a joyful and kind person; she will be dearly missed.

Survived by her brother, Bob Bier; daughter, Sharlin Login; son, Larry Whitford; grandchildren, Jason Logid and Kayla Montgomery and great-grandchildren, Nolan and Evelyn.

Funeral mass will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, May 23, 2016 at St. Bernadette Catholic Church with visitation starting at 9:00 a.m. Inurnment in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
