Barbara Joy "Barb" Weller

Barbara Joy “Barb” Weller, 77, Rockford, passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2016, at Alpine Fireside Health Center. She was born September 6, 1938, in Rockford, the daughter of Sam and Mary (Tworzydlo) Weller. She was a graduate of Rockford West High School, class of 1956. Barb was a Customer Service Representative for Commonwealth Edison Company in Rockford/DeKalb for 30 years retiring in 1993. She enjoyed traveling, doing volunteer work, and was an avid Cubs and Bears fan.
Survived by her brother, James “Jim” (Georgia) Weller; nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 A.M., Monday, August 1, 2016, at the Cathedral of St. Peter, 1243 N. Church St. Rockford, 61103, with the Very Reverend Steve St. Jules officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. until 9:45 A.M. at the church. Burial in Calvary Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements by Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Riverside Chapel, 3910 N.
