Barbara J. Rossier

Barbara J. Rossier, 80 a life long resident of Rockford, died Thursday, June 4, 2009 at Swedish American Hospital. Born, Jan. 2, 1929 daughter of James Garfield and Pearle (Cunningham) Smith. Attended West High School and graduated from Bishop Muldoon High School. Worked in Auditing Dept. at Tebala Towers for ten years as a bookkeeper and for Sreenan amp; Cain, P.C. for eighteen years, retiring in 1999. Survived by her husband Delbert Bud, son, Mick; grandchildren, Adam, Amy, Todd and Krystin Rossier; great grandchildren, Dominic and Cora Ann; brother-in-law, Don Kuelper; niece, Bev Bengston; nephews, John (Joanie) Bengston, Jim, Tim and Keith Kuelper; great nephew; Evan Bengston. Preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Janet Kuelper and Eileen Bengston and brother-in-law, Russ Bengston. Funeral Service Monday, June 8, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Riverside Chapel 3910 N. Rockton Ave. Visitation from 5-7 p.m. in the funeral home. Following cremation rites, inurnment will be held privately in Owen Center Cemetery. Memorials to: Milestone or Noahs Ark Animal Sanctuary.
