Barbara "Barb" M. Harvey

Barbara “Barb” M. Harvey, 85, lifelong resident of Rockford passed away Monday, April 23, 2018. Born September 29, 1932, in Rockford, the daughter of Bernard “Whitey” and I. Alberta (Budden) Johnson. Barb was a graduate of East High School. She married Gavin C. Harvey Jr. on January 12, 1951 in Roscoe.
Survived by her husband of 67 years, Gavin; children, Scott (Laurie) Harvey and Cyndy Perez; grandchildren, Christopher, Angela, Monica, Amy, Scott, Jessica, Dylan and Elizabeth; numerous great-grandchildren; brothers, Ronald (Raeann) and Gerald (Pat); brother-in-law, Martin (Darlene) Harvey; sister-in-law, Karin Bernier and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents and sons, Steven and Thomas. The Harvey Family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at River Bluff and the loving and caring angels at Family Centered Hospice.
Memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Riverside Chapel, 3910 North Rockton Avenue.
