Barbara “Barb” Ann Glovier, 78, passed away surrounded by her loving family on March 19, 2021. Born on August 11, 1942 in Dante, Virginia daughter to Countis and Maude (Sproles) Worley. She went on to marry the love of her life, William “Boyd” Glovier, in March 28, 1961 in their home in Virginia. They moved to Rockford for Boyd’s work and Barb was a homemaker all her life. She was very proud and happy to spend time with her daughter, her grandkids, and finally great grandkids. Whatever the grandkids wanted to do is what they did, whether that be cooking, reading, anything to spend the time together. Barb and Boyd tried to visit Virginia once a year to visit with family, and in Barb’s free time she loved to paint ceramics.
She will be survived by those who loved her most, her husband, William; her daughter, Robin Glovier; her grandkids, Kayla (Michael Lender), Trevor, Amber, Skyler, and Robert Glovier; her great-grandkids, Kaleiah Lender, Ariah Glovier and Zachery Savage; her brother, Homer Worley; numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her two children, Gary Glovier and Tonia Glovier; her parents; her siblings, Dewy Worley, Ralph Worley, Margarett Gonzales, Harry Worley, J.W., Mary Mays and Garnet Worley.
